Hello from East London!
I’m Karola – Estonian by birth, Londoner by choice, marketer by trade and writer by obsession. Ten years in growth roles, four of them as Global Head of Marketing at Bolt, where I scaled the team from 2 to 30+ people across 30+ markets.
As a freelance consultant, I’ve run marketing audits and growth strategies for 50+ tech companies across Europe, the UK, and the US, and spent millions of euros on Meta campaigns for 30+ consumer and B2B brands.
These days, I’m entre deux chaises: a client deck on one side, a poetry draft on the other, a long Hackney walk with an audiobook in between (currently Nabokov). In a world where every other businessfluencer’s whole personality is a job title and an AI prompt collected in a LinkedIn comment thread, I believe good work comes from people interested in the world outside their feed. Real people. With curious minds. Doing good work.
