230+ hand-picked Facebook and Instagram ads, static and video, sorted by category, annotated and free to download.
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a writer.
Then, as a second-year BA student, I decided I wanted to become the marketing lead of Estonia’s coolest company. I also wanted to live in Paris.
Years later, magically, all three had come true.
Just keep manifesting, as they say.
Be careful what you wish for, as they also say…
On the micro level, among vintage office chairs and first-edition books, there’s another thing I’ve always wanted.
As a performance marketer attuned to aesthetics, I’ve been dreaming of the perfect gallery of Meta ad examples. Not a folder of randomly collected creatives, but a beautiful web-hosted library of the best brands’ best ads, arranged by category and annotated with why each one works.
Until now, the closest I had was my 240+ best Facebook ad examples. Useful, but still an article: one long, fixed sequence that’s hard to search, compare or keep adding to. You can’t filter it by category, open an ad for a closer look or download it for your next creative brief.
So I built the thing: a gallery of Facebook and Instagram ad examples you can actually use.

234 Meta ad examples in five categories
The gallery has 234 Meta ad examples from Facebook and Instagram: 178 static ads and 56 video ads.
They’re sorted into five categories:
- E-commerce and fashion
- Beauty and personal care
- Wellness and food
- Consumer apps and subscriptions
- B2B SaaS and AI tools
None of them appear in my earlier blog articles. Every example is new, collected in autumn 2026.
I picked every creative because there’s something worth copying: visual structure, smart contrast, creative layout, a product showcase, a special offer, or a big bold headline with a genius USP.

Video ad examples for Facebook and Instagram
The 56 video ad examples were screen-recorded from my Instagram feed and from some top brands’ Meta Ad Libraries. Toggle between static and video to compare formats within the same category.
Video is where most brands’ Meta ads look the same, which also makes it the easiest place to stand out.

How to use the gallery for creative ideas
Use the categories to find references for your product and industry. You can also search for a specific brand or ad type.
But I’d also wander into the other rooms. Look at ads from brands completely unrelated to yours.
A fashion ad may teach a SaaS company how to use lifestyle photos. A health supplement brand may show a B2B marketer how to design special offers.
If all your competitors use the same static layouts and video styles, borrowing from another industry is how you stand out.
The same goes for borrowing from another platform. If you run B2B campaigns, browse my 105+ LinkedIn ad examples next to the gallery. Some of the best B2B ideas look nothing like B2B.
For example, when brainstorming ads for Roleo (B2C/B2B tech recruitment), I looked at Athletic Greens ads and came up with kit-style ads that joke about working at a startup. They were our top-performing creatives for weeks. You’ll find one in the gallery.

Why each ad works, and what to test
This is the part I’ve always missed in other Facebook ad galleries and swipe files.
Click “Copy & test” on any creative and it opens in a pop-up with a closer look: why it works and an idea to test in your own campaigns.

You can also hand any example to Claude, or whatever your agent of choice is, and ask for a similar concept for your brand.
Call me old-fashioned, but I still design all my clients’ ad creatives myself, in Figma. Partly because I enjoy it. Mostly because human-made ads (copy and design) still look higher quality, which means better brand perception and higher ROAS.
Download Facebook and Instagram ad examples
After screenshotting and recording about two thousand Facebook and Instagram ads, I know what a bummer of a task it is.
So every Facebook and Instagram ad example in the gallery can be downloaded.

Slack it to your designer or agent, add it to a brief or drag it straight into Figma next to your own concepts. A real visual tells your team far more than “make us something thumb-stopping”. They’ll get what you mean straight away.
Before your designer starts on the remake, check the right dimensions for every placement in my Facebook ad sizes guide. A great concept cropped wrong in Stories is a wasted concept.
The two best things
And, because I can, the gallery has a Moomin image and an animated cat cursor.

Smile at the Moomins. Download the ads. Chase the cat.

Bookmark it for the next time you run out of ideas, and send it to a marketer friend who’s staring at a blank Figma canvas. Sharing is (s)car(y)ing, as they say.
